🚨 EMERGENCY NOTICE: Delta Wellness Collective is NOT an emergency medical service. If you are experiencing a medical emergency, call 911 or go to your nearest emergency room immediately. Do not use our telehealth platform, patient portal, or messaging system to seek emergency care.
1. What is telehealth?
Telehealth — also known as telemedicine — is the delivery of healthcare services using secure digital communications technology. At Delta Wellness Collective, all clinical services are provided exclusively via telehealth through our HIPAA-compliant video platform (OptiMantra). This means you can receive professional medical care from the comfort of your home without needing to travel to a clinic.
Telehealth services we provide include:
- New patient evaluations and consultations
- Testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) management and monitoring
- Lab result review and treatment adjustments
- Prescription management for TRT, peptides, GLP-1 medications, and related therapies
- Concierge management of select chronic and acute conditions
- Secure messaging between you and your provider
2. How our telehealth platform works
Delta Wellness Collective uses OptiMantra's built-in HIPAA-compliant video platform for all clinical video visits. Here is what to expect:
- You will receive an invitation link to create your patient account through OptiMantra via our website or directly from our practice.
- Appointment confirmations and video visit links will be sent to your registered email address.
- At the time of your appointment, click the link provided to join the secure video visit from any device with a camera and microphone.
- Your provider will join the video visit and conduct your appointment. All visits are private and HIPAA-compliant.
- After your visit, your provider may send follow-up instructions, lab orders, or prescription information through the secure patient portal.
3. Technology requirements
To participate in telehealth visits with Delta Wellness Collective, you will need:
- A smartphone, tablet, laptop, or desktop computer with a camera and microphone
- A reliable internet connection (minimum 5 Mbps recommended for video quality)
- A current web browser (Chrome, Safari, Firefox, or Edge) or the OptiMantra mobile app
- A private, quiet space where you can speak freely during your visit
💡 Tip: Test your camera and microphone before your first visit. If you experience technical difficulties on the day of your appointment, contact us at (303) 276-5634 and we will assist you or reschedule your appointment at no charge.
4. Benefits & limitations of telehealth
Benefits
- Convenient access to care from anywhere in Washington, Colorado, or Arizona
- No travel time or waiting room
- Consistent care from the same provider at every visit
- Secure messaging between visits for non-urgent questions
- Electronic lab orders and prescription management
Limitations
- Telehealth does not allow for physical examination. Your provider cannot auscultate, palpate, or perform hands-on assessments remotely.
- Certain conditions may require in-person evaluation. Your provider will refer you to an in-person provider if clinically necessary.
- Telehealth is dependent on technology — poor internet connections or device issues may affect visit quality.
- Telehealth is not appropriate for medical emergencies.
5. State-specific telehealth disclosures
Washington
Washington residents have the right to request an in-person evaluation at any time before or after a telehealth visit. If an in-person evaluation is clinically necessary and cannot be facilitated by Delta Wellness Collective, we will provide a referral to an appropriate in-person provider. Telehealth services in Washington are provided in compliance with RCW 48.43.735 and applicable Washington State regulations.
Colorado
Colorado residents are entitled to the same standard of care via telehealth as they would receive in person, as required by Colorado's Telehealth Parity Law (CRS § 10-16-123). Delta Wellness Collective provides telehealth services consistent with this standard. You have the right to request information about the qualifications and licensing of your provider at any time.
Arizona
Arizona residents receiving telehealth services are protected under Arizona's telemedicine law (ARS § 36-3601 et seq.). Delta Wellness Collective providers are licensed to practice in Arizona and comply with all applicable Arizona telehealth regulations.
6. Emergency protocol
🚨 MEDICAL EMERGENCY PROTOCOL: If at any point during or between telehealth visits you experience a medical emergency — including but not limited to chest pain, difficulty breathing, severe allergic reaction, loss of consciousness, stroke symptoms, or any other life-threatening condition — STOP and call 911 immediately or have someone take you to the nearest emergency room. Do not wait for a telehealth response. Delta Wellness Collective cannot dispatch emergency services.
If a non-emergency urgent concern arises between visits, you may contact your provider through the secure patient portal messaging system. Your provider will respond within one business day for non-urgent messages. For time-sensitive but non-emergency concerns, please call our office at (303) 276-5634 during business hours.
7. Privacy & security
All telehealth visits and communications through Delta Wellness Collective are conducted via HIPAA-compliant, encrypted platforms. OptiMantra, our telehealth and EHR platform, maintains a signed Business Associate Agreement (BAA) with Delta Wellness Collective to ensure your Protected Health Information (PHI) is safeguarded.
To protect your privacy during telehealth visits:
- Conduct visits from a private location where others cannot hear your conversation
- Use a personal (not shared or public) device for all telehealth visits
- Do not use public Wi-Fi for telehealth visits — use a secure, password-protected network
- Log out of the patient portal when you are finished
8. Service availability
Delta Wellness Collective telehealth services are currently available to residents of the following states only:
- Washington
- Colorado
- Arizona
We are unable to provide clinical services to residents of other states. If you relocate outside of Washington, Colorado, or Arizona, you must notify us immediately as we may be unable to continue your care. We will work with you to provide adequate transition planning.
